Corporate Social Responsiblity

Credibility Alliance works together with companies to endorse its norms as well as carrying out Accreditation/Validation of member organisations in India. In accordance with its programmes, the Alliance has identified 3 project areas that are being conducted by companies as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility activities:

1. Introductions to organisations who are Members of Credibility Alliance
These are organisations which have passed our system of Peer Reviews. This provides a first level of an organisations compliance with the Norms we have established. Companies will find this a useful starting point for considering association or support to an organisation.

2. Introductions to organisations which have been Accredited to the Credibility Alliance
(Accreditation is a process requested by an organisation and paid for by an organisation or one of its supporters.)
These are organisations which have voluntarily passed successfully through an independent validation of compliance with Norms by empanelled assessors and institutions. If the organisation complies with the Norms, it will be officially certified by a central accreditation committee.

3. Companies can request CA to carry out Validation against CA Norms of their current and potential organisation partners.
| (Validation is a process requested by someone other than an organisation and paid for by the requesting agency – it may only be carried out with the approval of the organisation to be ‘validated’. A ‘validated’ organisation will be ‘accredited’ if it wishes.)
|
CA will assess the organisations adherence to Norms of the Credibility Alliance. Successful validation reassures the company about the organisations credibility, whereas if the organisation does not meet the Norms, it gives the company an opportunity to engage in a dialogue to either build capacity of the organisation or to seek other organisations to work with.
